A progressive and qualitatively strong cultivation and trading company. That is what Maasland Champignons has developed into since 1992. After having expanded considerably in 2018, they now have 7,500m2 of cultivation area.
Product origin
Sustainability is an important part of Maasland. Based on this vision, the new company building is equipped with the most modern techniques in virtually all important areas. In order to meet the diverse wishes of customers both at home and abroad, they have completely renovated their packaging and processing area. This enables them to supply a variety of white mushrooms and toadstools in all possible packaging.
Land use
First, the compost is filled with a layer of casing soil in a specially climatized space. The seasons of nature are imitated as precisely as possible in this space, so that the fungal threads of the mushroom can grow from the compost into the casing soil
