Rondeel is designed according to the natural needs of the chicken so that the chicken can live like a chicken. Because chickens naturally spend 95% of their active time eating and gathering food, that is to say scratching, Rondeel has designed the forest edge and the outdoor enclosure accordingly. Tree stumps have been placed in the forest edge and there is a nice layer of natural ground cover in which they can sunbathe. The outdoor enclosure is equipped with artificial grass which guarantees scratching in every season. Every day the farmer spreads grain in the day enclosure, which encourages the chickens to scratch.
