Dries Vahl started growing open ground vegetables and chicory in 1950. The first greenhouse was built in 1959. In the decades that followed, the nursery grew to 10.1 hectares of glass surface and 2.5 hectares of organic tomatoes and peppers. Cucumbers are grown sustainably in the greenhouses. Son André and two nephews currently run the company. |
